Poppies don’t flower long. They have an overwhelmingly powerful bud, then they flower for a day or two and subsequently they drop their petals. All those fragile colourful pieces drift away on the wind, following another destination. But once flowering you can’t ignore the Poppy. She is so gracious and looks so happy.

The Dahlia is like a voluptuous and sensual woman who loves life and enjoys it passionately. She is overwhelming in her charm, her wisdom and her generosity. She shares whatever she has to share: joy, sadness and friendship and it is always more than you can return.

A summers day, a cool breeze and waving flowers in a wild garden. Light, frivolous and sunny. You almost can see the outside world through her petals. She is a mirror of what is around her. Her brightness is a joy for all. Wouldn’t it be great to be a flower like that? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to share all that is deep inside you and be appreciated for it?

The tender flower reaches to heaven. It shows grace and pride and awareness of its own beauty. It doesn’t need the yellow, red and blue. This image of a Carnation shows that what is hidden inside will come out, if not through colour then through shape, through fragrance or display.
